Website to video AI: turn any URL into a promo video
Paste a page you own and Website to Promo Video reads its copy, brand colours, fonts, logo and images, takes live screenshots when it can, and writes a short brief you can edit. Pick a look, a shape (16:9, 9:16 or 1:1), a length (15 or 30 seconds) and a music genre. The AI storyboards the video with every scene timed to the beat, checks sample frames for layout problems and fixes them, and you export a 1080p MP4 in your browser.
No editor, timeline or subscription. If something looks off, describe it (“at 3.6s the headline overlaps the screenshot”) and the AI revises that moment, or re-lay out the same video for another aspect ratio without starting over.
Example promo videos made from real websites
Real 15-second exports, compressed for the web. Third-party sites are unofficial examples, not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.
What people make with it
Product Hunt and launch posts
A short 16:9 video for your launch gallery, X and LinkedIn, made from the page you're launching.
SaaS landing page hero
A muted, looping 15-second promo above the fold that shows the product working.
App promos for Reels, Shorts and TikTok
A 9:16 version with phone-sized type, re-laid out rather than cropped.
Feature announcements
Turn a changelog entry or feature page into a before/after video for every release.
What's in every video
- Your real copy, colours, fonts and logo, read from your page
- Live or uploaded screenshots in browser and phone frames
- Product, Editorial or Swiss look, or Auto to let the AI choose
- Instrumental music in the genre you pick, with scenes cut on the beat
- An AI frame check for overlapping text, low contrast and cut-off layouts
- MP4 export (H.264 video, AAC audio) in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, with no visible watermark
Good to know: there's no voiceover, videos are 15 or 30 seconds, and the tab needs to stay open while the video is polished and exported.
Website to Promo Video FAQ
What does Website to Promo Video make?
A 15 or 30 second branded promo for your product: your headline, features, proof and call to action, animated over real screenshots of your site in laptop and phone frames, in your brand colours and fonts, cut to an AI-generated music track. You preview it live with sound and export an MP4 in your browser.
Is Website to Promo Video free to try?
Reading your site and editing the brief are free, and new accounts get 100 free starter credits for trying other tools. A finished promo video uses 2,000 credits, so you'll need a credit pack: packs start from $5 for 5,000 credits, with no subscription, and credits never expire. Failed runs are free — credits only leave your balance when the video is ready.
How does it read my website?
Paste a public page you own or have permission to use. We fetch it from our servers (private and internal addresses are blocked), pull out the copy, colours, fonts, logo and images, and turn them into a short brief you can edit before anything is generated. Reading a site is free. Page text is treated as data — instructions hidden in a page can't steer the AI.
How do credits work for a promo video?
Each promo uses one flat amount of credits from your balance, whatever the length or aspect — the storyboard, animation, music track and the AI's frame-by-frame polish are all included. Credits are held when generation starts and only taken when the video is ready; if anything fails they go straight back. Changes, a new music track or a re-layout to another aspect ratio use a smaller amount, again only on success.
Where does the music come from? Can I use it?
Music comes from our library of instrumental tracks made with Google's Lyria model: the AI picks a genre that fits your site, or you choose one (synthwave, EDM, lo-fi, cinematic, hip-hop, acoustic and more), and the video is cut to the track's beat. It's yours to use in the video, but it isn't exclusive to you and carries an inaudible SynthID watermark that identifies it as AI-generated. If your browser can't encode audio, the export is silent and we tell you.
What styles and sizes are available?
Three looks — Product (your real UI on a quiet neutral stage), Editorial (light paper and elegant serif headlines) and Swiss (huge bold type on a flat field of your brand colour) — or Auto, where the AI picks the look that fits your brand. Each comes in 16:9 for YouTube and websites, 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, and 1:1 for feeds, at 15 or 30 seconds. After generating you can re-lay out the same video for another aspect ratio without starting over.
How does the AI make sure it looks good?
The AI first plans a storyboard with every scene timed to the beat, then writes the animation. Your browser renders sample frames and checks for text over screenshots, cut-off or overlapping text, low contrast, blank frames and stretched images. The frames go back to the AI, which critiques and fixes its own work before you see the result.
Do I need screenshots?
No. When live screenshots of your site are available we use them in device frames; otherwise the video is built from the images on your page, your logo and your brand colours. You can also upload your own screenshots, which is the best option for an app or dashboard behind a login.
Does it add a voiceover or a watermark?
There's no voiceover: the story is told with on-screen text and music, so it works in muted feeds. There's no visible watermark on the exported video. The music carries an inaudible SynthID watermark that identifies it as AI-generated.
Which browsers can export the MP4?
Chrome, Edge and Safari export H.264 MP4 with music. Firefox exports the video and may fall back to a silent file. Keep the tab open while exporting; 30 second videos take a little longer.
